Edwin (Ned) Abrahamsen is the sole owner and shareholder of Edwin A. Abrahamsen & Associates, P.C. Ned has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors to Commonwealth Financial Systems, Inc. for the past 5 years. In addition, Ned has held partnership interests in several companies as well as being a partner in the general practice Law Firm of Abrahamsen, Moran & Conaboy. He is active in several local charities and organizations. Mr. Abrahamsen obtained his BA from Franklin & Marshall College and his JD from the Dickinson School of Law.

Scott J. Best, Esq. joined Abrahamsen & Associates in September 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Best served as In-house Counsel for Commonwealth Financial Systems, Inc. for 2 years. During his time at Commonwealth, Mr. Best oversaw the entire legal department. Included in those duties was the oversight of the paralegal staff, management of the outside attorney network and oversight of the compliance department of Commonwealth. Mr. Best received his B.A. from Villanova University and his JD from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law.

Michael F. Ratchford, Esq. joined Abrahamsen & Associates in January 2007 as the managing attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ratchford was a member of the litigation departments in several Philadelphia based law firms where he gained seven years of experience in commercial litigation and insurance defense litigation. Mr. Ratchford obtained his BA from the University of Scranton and his JD from the Villanova University School of Law. Prior to attending law school Mr. Ratchford served as the Deputy Press Secretary to United States Senator Barbara Mikulski.
